Auburn Tigers head coach Hugh Freeze announced today the signing of two key players, significantly bolstering the team’s roster for the upcoming season.

The first notable addition is quarterback Jackson Arnold, a five-star recruit from the Class of 2023, who is transferring from Oklahoma to Auburn after two seasons. Arnold, who was ranked as the No. 4 quarterback and No. 10 overall player by 247Sports during his high school career, brings a wealth of talent and experience to the Tigers. At Oklahoma, he completed 62.6% of his passes for 1,421 yards and rushed for 444 yards during the 2024 season. Coach Freeze praised Arnold’s fit for Auburn’s offense, highlighting his proficiency in the RPO system and accurate deep throws. Freeze anticipates that Arnold will bring a winning mentality and on-field swagger to the program.

In addition to Arnold, Auburn has secured the commitment of running back Omar Mabson for the 2025 class. Mabson, a three-star recruit, has been recognized for his impressive high school performance and is expected to make a significant impact in Auburn’s backfield. His commitment reflects Auburn’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its offensive lineup with promising talent.

These signings underscore Auburn’s dedication to enhancing its roster with top-tier talent as the team prepares for the upcoming season.
